This guide helps you use the studies6 app for learning, review, and content import.
1. Home Screen
- Open the app to reach the Home screen.
- Use Review to practice existing content.
- Use Learn to study chapters in detail.
- Use the top-right Settings icon to open app settings.
- Use the Language icon to switch UI language.
2. Learn Flow
2.1 Open Chapters
- Tap Learn on Home.
- Tap any chapter in the chapter list.
- If no chapters exist, import content from Settings > Admin or Settings > PRO.
2.2 Chapter Tabs
Inside a chapter, you can switch between enabled tabs:
- Sentences
- Vocabulary
- Questions
- Notes
- Characters
- Flashcards
- Extras
2.3 Play All Audio
- Play All is available in audio-based tabs (Sentences, Vocabulary, Questions).
- You can start, pause/resume, and stop playback.
- If some files are missing, the app may skip them and continue.
3. Review Flow
- Tap Review on Home.
- Use the bottom icon bar to switch review modes.
- Available modes depend on your settings and feature toggles.
3.1 Typical Review Modes
- Search
- Characters (writing-related practice)
- Flashcards or Custom Flashcards (based on your configuration)
4. Settings
Open Settings from Home, Learn, or Review.
4.1 Style Tab
- Configure display preferences and visual behavior.
4.2 Flashcards Tab
- Adjust flashcard behavior and related options.
4.3 Admin Tab
- Import local content files.
- Manage language overrides and admin-level app data options.
- Review local storage usage (database, audio, JSON).
4.4 PRO Tab
- Use PRO/Test key flow to import remote content and audio.
- Select the content source (for example, chapters or excel-based source).
- Run content import before starting normal learning/review sessions.
5. PRO and Test Key Flow
5.1 Enter a Key
- Open Settings > PRO.
- Enter your License Key, or use a valid Test Key if provided.
- Save the key before import.
5.2 Import Content
- Select a content source.
- Start data import.
- Wait for confirmation that import completed.
- Open Learn or Review and confirm chapters are visible.
5.3 Import Audio
- Start audio import after data import.
- Keep the app open while large imports run.
- Audio files are stored locally for playback in chapter/review flows.
6. Best Practices
- Import data first, then import audio.
- After a new import, reopen Learn and Review to refresh what you see.
- Use stable network during PRO/Test imports.
- If you changed keys, re-import content and audio.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Chapters Found
- Go to Settings > Admin or Settings > PRO.
- Import content again.
7.2 Data Import Fails
- Check your key and source selection.
- Check internet connection.
- Retry import.
7.3 Audio Missing or Not Playing
- Run audio import again.
- Check volume and playback speed settings.
- If Play All skips files, those files may be missing locally.
7.4 Language Labels Not as Expected
- Check imported language metadata.
- Adjust overrides in Settings > Admin if needed.
8. Need Help
When reporting an issue, include:
- Your platform (Android/iOS).
- The screen and action you were using.
- The exact error message.
- Whether the issue happened during data import, audio import, Learn, or Review.
