This Privacy Policy explains how the LearnIt! On the Go mobile app (the “App”) and related backend services (the “Backend”) collect, use, store, and share information.

1. App

  • Learning and usage data generated while using the App (for example: progress, activity, selected content, and feature interactions).

How We Use App Data

We use App data to:

  • Provide and maintain core App functionality.

Tracking and Advertising

We do not use your data for cross-app tracking for third-party advertising unless explicitly stated in the App Store listing and permitted by your consent where required by law.

If tracking is introduced in the future, we will request permission through Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework before tracking begins.

Sharing From the App

We may share data:

  • With service providers that support operation of the App (for example: hosting, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, storage, and support services), only as needed to provide the service.
  • When required by law, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
  • To protect rights, safety, security, and integrity of users, third parties, the App, or the Backend.

2. Backend (LOTW)

What the Backend Processes

The Backend may process:

  • API requests from the App, including identifiers needed to authenticate sessions and provide requested features.
  • Database records related to account data, learning content, and activity.
  • Server logs, security events, and operational telemetry for reliability and abuse prevention.

Why the Backend Processes Data

The Backend processes data to:

  • Authenticate users and authorize access.
  • Store, retrieve, and synchronize user data.
  • Protect the service against attacks, misuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor uptime, troubleshoot incidents, and improve infrastructure.

Backend Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:

  • Protection of data in transit (for example: HTTPS/TLS where configured).
  • Access controls restricting backend systems to authorized personnel and service accounts.
  • Security measures designed to reduce risk of unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

International Transfers

Depending on hosting and provider locations, data may be processed in countries other than your own.

Data Sharing by Backend

We share personal data only when necessary to operate, secure, and provide the service.
